How to Make Lemon Pepper Chicken in 8 Steps.

Marinate the Chicken, in a bowl, mix lemon juice, lemon zest, freshly ground black pepper, salt, minced garlic, and olive oil. Add chicken breasts or thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Prepare the Pan, heat a skillet over medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil or butter.

Sear the Chicken, remove the chicken from the marinade and sear it in the pan, cooking each side for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.

Add Lemon Slices, add a few lemon slices to the pan for added flavor while the chicken cooks.

Season Further, sprinkle additional lemon pepper seasoning if desired for a more intense flavor.

Simmer with Broth, add a splash of chicken broth or water to the pan, cover, and simmer for another 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and juicy.

Rest the Chicken, remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes to retain its juices.

Serve, garnish with fresh parsley or extra lemon zest, and serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes or vegetables.
