Here's a simple recipe to make bread kheer at home in 6 steps.

Toast the Bread, heat ghee in a pan and fry the bread pieces until they turn golden brown and crispy. Set them aside.
Boil the Milk, in a separate pan, bring the milk to a boil. lower the flame and let it simmer until it reduces slightly, thickening up.
Add the Bread, once the milk has thickened, add the fried bread pieces to it. stir gently so the bread absorbs the milk.
Sweeten the Kheer, add sugar and cardamom powder to the mixture. stir well until the sugar dissolves completely.
Cook Further, let the kheer cook for another 5–7 minutes on low heat, allowing the flavors to blend. Stir occasionally to avoid sticking.
Garnish and Serve, turn off the heat and garnish with chopped dry fruits. serve the bread kheer warm or chilled, based on your preference.
