Here’s an easy recipe for making delicious eclairs.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a saucepan, boil water, butter, and salt; then stir in flour until a ball forms, cool slightly, and mix in eggs one at a time until smooth.

Transfer the choux pastry to a piping bag and pipe 4-inch strips onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed, then cool completely on a wire rack without opening the oven door.

Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form, then transfer to a piping bag.

Once cool, poke a hole in one end of each eclair and pipe in the whipped cream until filled.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.

Dip the tops of each filled eclair into the chocolate glaze or drizzle it over the top.

Let the glaze set before serving your homemade eclairs.
