Combine Ingredients, Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter-sugar mixture, forming a dough.
Cream Butter and Sugar, Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Flavor, Mix in vanilla extract or cardamom powder for flavor.
Shape Cookies, Roll the dough into small balls, flatten them slightly, and place them on a baking tray.
Bake, Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes.
Cool and Serve, Let the cookies cool before serving or storing.
