Gather Ingredients, 1 cup semolina, ½ cup sugar, 1 cup yogurt, ¼ cup oil, ½ tsp baking soda, ½ tsp vanilla essence, and ¼ cup chopped nuts.

Mix Dry Ingredients, in a bowl, combine semolina, sugar, and baking soda. Mix well.

Add Wet Ingredients, add yogurt, oil, and vanilla essence to the dry mix. Stir until smooth and lump-free.

Rest the Batter, let the batter sit for 5 minutes to allow the semolina to absorb the moisture.

Grease the Pan, grease a microwave-safe or oven-safe dish with oil or butter.

Pour the Batter, pour the batter into the greased dish and spread evenly.

Cook the Cake, microwave the cake for 5 minutes on high or bake in an oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Garnish and Serve, let it cool slightly, garnish with chopped nuts, and serve warm.
