How to Make Coconut Chutney at Home in 7 Steps.

Prepare Ingredients, Grate 1 cup of fresh coconut, Gather 2 green chilies, a small piece of ginger, and salt to taste.
Grind Ingredients, In a blender, add grated coconut, green chilies, ginger, and salt.
Add Water, Pour in 1/4 cup of water to help with blending.
Blend to Smooth Paste, Blend until you get a smooth and thick paste.
Temper the Chutney, Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a small pan. Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon urad dal, and a few curry leaves.
Pour Tempering Over Chutney, Once the mustard seeds splutter and the urad dal turns golden, pour the tempering over the chutney.
Mix Well and Serve, Stir the tempering into the chutney. Serve fresh with dosa, idli, or any other South Indian dish.
