Soak and Blend, soak 1 cup of pistachios in warm water for 30 minutes. Drain and blend them into a coarse paste.
Prepare Sugar Syrup, heat ½ cup sugar and ¼ cup water in a pan until it forms a sticky syrup.
Cook the Pista Paste, add the pista paste to the sugar syrup, stirring continuously on medium heat.
Add Flavor, mix in ½ tsp cardamom powder and 2 tbsp of milk powder for flavor and texture.
Cook Further, Stir until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
Grease the tray, grease a tray or plate with ghee and pour the mixture into it.
Spread Evenly, flatten the mixture evenly using a spatula or your hands.
Cool and Cut, let it cool for 30 minutes, then cut into square or diamond shapes before serving. Enjoy your homemade pista barfi.
