How to make a Chocolate Lava Cake in a Fry Pan in 8 easy steps.

Melt the chocolate and butter, in a fry pan over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together until smooth. Stir constantly to avoid burning.

Mix in sugar, once melted, remove from heat and mix in the sugar. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.

Add the egg, whisk in the egg, stirring quickly to blend it into the chocolate mixture. Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

Fold in flour, gently fold in the flour to form a smooth batter. Avoid over-mixing.

Prepare the pan, grease the fry pan lightly with butter or oil. Pour the batter into the fry pan, filling about halfway.

Cook on low heat, cover the fry pan with a lid and cook on low heat for about 10-12 minutes. The edges should be firm, but the center should remain soft.

Check doneness, after about 10 minutes, check if the edges are set but the middle is still gooey. Adjust heat and time if necessary.

Serve warm, once done, carefully remove the lava cake from the fry pan. Serve immediately to enjoy the molten center.
