Prepare the marinade, Mix hung curd, fresh cream, ginger-garlic paste, green chili paste, and garam masala in a bowl.
Marinate the paneer, Cut paneer into cubes and coat them with the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the Afghani paste, Blend cashews, poppy seeds, and melon seeds into a smooth paste.
Saute spices, Heat oil or ghee in a pan, and sauté finely chopped onions, ginger, and garlic until golden brown.
Cook the Afghani paste, Add the prepared cashew paste to the pan and cook until the oil separates.
Add marinated paneer, Add the marinated paneer cubes to the pan, stirring gently to coat them with the paste.
Simmer, Pour in some water or cream to adjust the consistency and let the paneer simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
Garnish and serve, Garnish with fresh cream, chopped coriander, and serve hot with naan or rice.
