Prepare the batter, in a bowl, mix besan, turmeric, chili powder, ajwain, and salt. add water gradually to form a smooth, lump-free batter.

Heat the oil, heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame for frying.

Prepare the bread, cut the bread slices into halves (triangles or rectangles) as per your preference.

Dip the bread, coat each bread piece evenly in the besan batter, ensuring it's fully covered.

Fry until golden, carefully place the coated bread slices into the hot oil and fry until crispy and golden brown on both sides.

Drain excess oil, remove and place the pakoras on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Serve & enjoy, serve hot with green chutney or ketchup, alongside a cup of tea.
