Here’s a simple recipe to prepare crunchy peanut chikki for Diwali in 6 steps.

Prepare the Tray, grease a flat tray or a marble surface with ghee to prevent the chikki from sticking.

Melt the Jaggery, in a pan, add the grated jaggery with a few tablespoons of water. Heat it on low until it melts completely and reaches a hard-ball consistency.

Add Peanuts and Mix, once the jaggery is melted, add the roasted peanuts and a pinch of salt to the pan. mix well to ensure all the peanuts are coated with jaggery.

Add Cardamom Powder, stir in the cardamom powder for extra flavor.

Spread the Mixture, pour the peanut and jaggery mixture onto the greased tray. use a rolling pin to flatten it evenly, or press down with your hands.

Cool and Cut, let the chikki cool completely, then cut it into squares or pieces. store in an airtight container for your guests.
