Prepare amla, steam and deseed amlas, then blend into a smooth paste.
Make jaggery syrup, melt jaggery with water on medium heat until syrupy.
Cook mixture, cook amla paste in ghee, mix in jaggery syrup, and stir until thick.
Shape laddoos, roll warm mixture into balls with greased hands.
Finish and store, optionally coat with coconut and store in an airtight container.
