Here's how to make rich and creamy Hyderabadi Haleem for any special occasion at home in just 7 simple steps.
Soak the grains & lentils, soak broken wheat, chana dal, masoor dal, and moong dal for 1 hour.
Cook the grains & lentils, boil the soaked grains and lentils with water until soft and mushy.
Prepare the meat, in ghee, saute sliced onions, add meat, ginger-garlic paste, and cook until tender.
Add spices, mix in turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. cook until fragrant.
Blend & mash, grind the cooked grains into a smooth paste and shred the cooked meat.
Combine & simmer, mix the meat with the blended grains, add garam masala, and slow-cook for a thick texture.
Final touch & serve, garnish with fried onions, fresh coriander, and lemon wedges. serve hot.
