Here's how to make chocolate ruffle cake at home.

Bake the cake, bake a chocolate cake and let it cool completely before assembling.

Make the chocolate ganache, heat 1 cup heavy cream in a pan until it just begins to simmer. pour it over 200g chopped dark chocolate and 2 tablespoons butter. stir until smooth and glossy.

Prepare the cake layers, slice the cooled cake into two or more layers, depending on your preference.

Assemble the cake, spread a layer of ganache between the cake layers, then pour the remaining ganache over the top, letting it drip down the sides.

Garnish and serve, create ruffles with extra ganache and garnish with chocolate shavings. Chill before serving.
