Here's how to make moong dal salad at home.

Soak and Cook Moong Dal, rinse 1 cup moong dal, soak for 2-3 hours, and boil it until soft but not mushy. let it cool.
Chop Fresh Veggies, dice cucumber, tomato, onion, and green chili. add carrots or bell peppers for extra crunch.
Combine Ingredients, in a bowl, mix cooked dal, chopped veggies, and fresh coriander leaves.
Season the Salad, add salt, pepper, a pinch of chaat masala, and lemon juice. toss gently to mix.
Serve Fresh, garnish with coriander leaves and serve fresh, chilled, or at room temperature. perfect as a light, healthy snack.
