Here's how to make nutritious millet khichdi at home.

Gather Ingredients, use 1/2 cup millet, 1/4 cup moong dal, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped carrot, 1 chopped tomato, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cumin seeds, ginger, salt, and 2 cups water.

Rinse and soak millet and dal for 15-20 minutes.

Saute cumin seeds, ginger, and onion in ghee or oil until soft. add carrot, tomato, and turmeric.

Add soaked millet and dal, pour water, add salt, and cook in a pressure cooker or pan until soft.

Serve warm with yogurt or pickle.
