Prepare the Batter, in a mixing bowl, combine bajra flour, chopped onions, grated carrots, cumin seeds, and salt. gradually add water to make a smooth, lump-free batter of pouring consistency.
Heat the Pan, a non-stick or cast-iron tawa over medium heat. lightly grease it with a few drops of oil.
Spread the Batter, pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and gently spread it into a thin circular shape, like a pancake.
Cook the Chilla, drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook for 2-3 minutes on one side. flip it over and cook the other side until golden brown.
Serve hot, remove from the pan and serve hot with chutney, yogurt, or pickle for a healthy breakfast.
