Here’s a simple recipe to make restaurant-style Chilli Tofu at home.

Pat the tofu dry, cut it into cubes, and toss in a mix of cornflour and all-purpose flour until well coated.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated tofu cubes until golden and crispy, then drain on paper towels.
In the same pan, add oil if needed, then sauté minced garlic, ginger, and green chilies for 1-2 minutes before adding onion and bell pepper until slightly tender.
Add soy sauce, chili sauce, vinegar, sugar, and salt and pepper, then mix well.
Gently add the fried tofu to the pan, toss to coat, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot with rice or noodles.
