Prepare the Ingredients, wash the lemon and ginger thoroughly. Cut the lemon in half and juice one half while slicing the other half into thin rounds. Peel the ginger and slice it into thin pieces or grate it.

Boil the Water, in a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer.

Add Lemon and Ginger, add the lemon juice, lemon slices, and ginger slices to the simmering water. Let it steep for about 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

Strain the Mixture, after steeping, remove the pot from heat and strain the mixture into a pitcher or large glass, discarding the ginger and lemon slices.

Serve and Enjoy, allow the lemon ginger water to cool slightly. If desired, add honey for sweetness and garnish with mint leaves. Serve warm or chilled, and enjoy this refreshing drink as part of your weight loss journey.
