Prepare the Cake Batter, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). grease two 9-inch round cake pans. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.

Mix Wet Ingredients, in another bowl, whisk eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla. pour this into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.

Add Coffee, add cooled brewed coffee to the batter. stir well, though the batter will be thin.

Bake the Cake, pour the batter into the pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. let the cakes cool before frosting.

Make Frosting and Assemble, beat butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and dissolved coffee together. frost the cooled cakes, layer them, and decorate with chocolate or coffee beans. enjoy your delicious mocha cake.
