Blend the batter, drain the soaked moong dal and grind it into a thick paste using minimal water. add curd for extra softness.

Mix the ingredients, transfer the moong dal paste to a bowl. add chopped onion, tomato, green chili, coriander, cumin seeds, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. mix well.

Prepare the bread, take a slice of bread and spread a thick layer of the moong dal mixture evenly on one side.

Heat the pan, heat a tawa or non-stick pan on medium flame and grease it with a little oil or butter.

Toast the bread, place the bread with dal side down on the hot pan. cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

Flip and cook, flip the toast and cook the other side until crisp. press gently with a spatula for even cooking.

Serve hot, remove from the pan and serve hot with green chutney or ketchup. enjoy your crispy, protein-packed moong dal toast for a nutritious breakfast or snack.
