Here’s how to make Moong Dal Appe with onion peanut chutney.

Soak and grind, rinse moong dal, soak for 3–4 hours, then grind with green chili, ginger, and little water to make a thick batter.

Prepare batter, add turmeric, cumin, salt, chopped onions, and coriander to the batter. mix well.

Heat Appe Pan, and grease each cavity with a little oil.

Cook Appe, pour batter into each cavity, cover, and cook on medium flame till the bottom turns golden.

Flip and cook, flip the appes and cook the other side till crispy and golden.

Serve hot with Onion Peanut Chutney.
