Here's how to make South Indian Murmura Upma at home.

Prep the Murmura, rinse murmura in water for a few seconds, then drain and keep aside.

Saute the Spices, heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chopped green chilies, and ginger. let them splutter.

Add Vegetables, toss in chopped onions, carrots, and peas. saute until they turn soft.

Mix in the Murmura, add salt, turmeric, and rinsed murmura. stir well to coat everything evenly.

Cook for a Few Minutes, cover and cook for 2–3 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.

Garnish & Serve, turn off the heat, sprinkle fresh coriander and lemon juice, then serve warm
