Prepare the Dough, mix whole wheat flour, gram flour, chopped fenugreek leaves, turmeric, red chili powder, cumin powder, ajwain, yogurt, salt, and oil. add water gradually to knead a soft dough and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
Make Dough Balls, divide the dough into small balls and dust with flour for easy rolling.
Roll the Theplas, roll each ball into a thin round disc about 6–8 inches wide.
Heat a tawa and place the rolled thepla on it.
Cook the Theplas, cook on both sides until brown spots appear, applying a little oil or ghee for better flavor.
Serve Hot, serve warm theplas with yogurt, pickle, or chutney for a tasty meal.
