In a bowl, mix crumbled paneer, mashed potatoes, all-purpose flour, coriander leaves, and chopped nuts if using.

Add cumin seeds, garam masala, chili powder, and salt. Mix well to form a dough.

Shape the mixture into small balls.

Heat oil over medium heat and fry kofta balls until golden brown and crisp; drain on paper towels.

Heat oil over medium heat, sauté chopped onions until golden brown, then add minced garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute.

Stir in the tomato puree and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil starts to separate from the mixture.

Add turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, chili powder, and salt, and cook for a couple of minutes.

Stir in fresh cream, adjust consistency with water, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Gently add the fried kofta balls to the simmering gravy and cook for 2-3 minutes to allow the koftas to absorb the flavors.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
