How to make millet ragi modak in 8 steps

Roast 1 cup ragi flour and ½ cup jaggery in ghee.
Add 1 cup grated coconut and mix well.
Pour in ½ cup water, stirring to form a dough.
Let the mixture cool slightly.
Grease your hands and shape the dough into small modak shapes.
Steam the modaks for 10 minutes.
Let them cool before removing from the steamer.
Serve the modaks warm, garnished with nuts or desiccated coconut.
