Prepare the Batter, preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). in a large bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Mix Wet Ingredients, in another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter until well combined.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients, gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. avoid overmixing to keep the cornbread light.

Bake the Cornbread, grease a baking dish or skillet, pour in the batter, and spread evenly. bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Cool and Serve, let the cornbread cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve with butter or honey for a cafe like experience.
