Here's how to make cripy resturant style French Fries at home in just 7 easy steps.
Peel & cut the potatoes, peel the potatoes and cut them into thin, even strips, matchstick shape.
Soak in cold water, place the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. drain and pat them dry with a clean towel.
Heat the oil, heat oil in a deep pan to medium heat about 325°F/160°C.
First fry-blanching, fry the potatoes in batches for 3-4 minutes until soft but not brown. remove and let them rest for 5-10 minutes on paper towels.
Second fry for crispiness, increase the oil temperature to 375°F. fry the potatoes again until golden and crispy about 2-3 minutes.
Drain & season, remove fries, place them on paper towels, and sprinkle with salt or seasoning while hot.
Serve & enjoy, serve with ketchup, cheese dip, or any sauce of your choice.
