Prepare the yogurt mixture, in a bowl, whisk thick curd until smooth.
Mix ingredients, add condensed milk, mango pulp, sugar, and cardamom powder. mix well.
Transfer to molds, and pour the mixture into small steel or earthen bowls.
Steam the bhapa doi, place the bowls in a steamer or pressure cooker without a whistle and steam for 20-25 minutes.
Check for doneness insert a toothpick; if it comes out clean, it's done.
Cool and refrigerate, let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Garnish and serve, top with chopped nuts and enjoy chilled.
