Prepare the Batter, in a bowl, mix 1 cup of idli/dosa batter or rava (semolina) with ½ cup jaggery, ¼ tsp cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt. add 2–3 tbsp grated coconut and a little water if needed to get a pourable consistency.

Add Dry Fruits, mix in chopped bananas, cashews, or raisins for added taste and nutrition.

Heat the Appe Pan, grease the appe (paniyaram) pan with a little ghee or oil, and heat it on a low flame.

Pour and Cook, pour batter into each cavity of the pan. cover and cook on a low flame until the bottom is golden, then flip

Serve warm, once both sides are golden and cooked, remove and let them cool slightly. they stay soft and sweet, perfect for kids’ lunchboxes.
