Here’s how to make crispy French fries at home in 5 easy steps.

Peel & Cut, peel 3-4 potatoes and cut them into thin sticks.

Soak in Water, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes. this removes excess starch and makes them crispier.

Dry Them Well, drain and pat the potatoes dry using a kitchen towel, no moisture before frying.

Fry Twice, for the first fry, heat oil and cook the potatoes on medium heat until they are soft, but not golden. remove them and let them cool. during the second fry, raise the heat and fry again until they are golden and crispy.

Season & Serve, sprinkle salt or your favorite seasoning. serve hot with ketchup or dip of your choice.
