Mix dry ingredients, in a bowl, whisk together flour and sugar until evenly combined.

Add wet ingredients, pour in milk, crack the egg, and add vanilla extract. stir everything together until a smooth batter forms.

Heat the pan, preheat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or oil.

Pour batter, scoop about 1/4 cup of the batter onto the heated pan for each pancake.

Cook, let the pancakes cook for 2-3 minutes, or until bubbles form on the surface. flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Serve, stack the pancakes, drizzle with syrup, and serve hot with your favorite toppings.
