Make the batter in a bowl, and mix besan, chopped veggies, spices, and salt. add water gradually to make a thick, pancake-like batter.
Prepare the Bread, cut the edges of the bread slices. you can use them whole or halve them diagonally.
Coat the Bread, dip one side of the bread in the batter, or spoon the batter on top to coat it evenly.
Heat a non-stick tawa or pan, grease with a little oil/ghee, and place the batter-coated side down first. Spread some batter on the top side. cook both sides until golden and crisp.
Serve with mint chutney or tomato ketchup for a healthy, protein-rich snack.
