Prepare the Mixture, grate 1-2 beetroots, squeeze out water, and mix with 2 mashed potatoes, 2 tablespoons of gram flour, cumin powder, garam masala, chopped chilies, and salt to make a soft dough.
Shape the Tikkis, divide the mixture into portions, roll into balls, and flatten into round tikkis.
Coat the Tikkis, for extra crunch, coat the tikkis lightly with breadcrumbs or semolina.
Cook the Tikkis, shallow fry the tikkis on a pan over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Serve Hot, place the tikkis on paper towels to drain excess oil. serve with chutney or ketchup.
