Here's how to make delicious Apple Halwa at home in just 7 easy steps.
Peel & grate apples, wash, peel, and grate the apples. keep them aside.
Heat ghee, in a pan, heat 2 tbsp ghee on medium flame.
Cook apples, add the grated apples and saute for 5-7 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
Add milk, pour in ¼ cup milk and stir well. cook until the mixture thickens.
Add sugar, mix in ½ cup sugar and keep stirring. the apples will release moisture keep cooking until it thickens again.
Add cardamom & nuts, sprinkle ½ tsp cardamom powder and add chopped nuts. stir well.
Serve warm, garnish with saffron strands and more nuts if desired. serve warm and enjoy.
