Here’s a simple 7-step method to make tasty biscuit snacks.
Gather Ingredients: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Prepare 1 cup of whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup of butter, 1/2 cup of powdered sugar, and any additional flavors like vanilla extract or cinnamon.
Mix Butter and Sugar: In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add Flour: Gradually add the whole wheat flour to the butter-sugar mixture. Mix well until a dough forms. If the dough is too crumbly, add a tablespoon of milk to bind it together.
Roll and Cut: Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes or simply cut into squares or rectangles using a knife.
Place on Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the cut-out biscuits on the baking sheet, leaving a little space between each biscuit.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of the biscuits turn golden brown.
Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let the biscuits cool on a wire rack. Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
