Here's how to make Hyderabadi Biryani at home.

Marinate the Meat, mix chicken or mutton with yogurt, spices, fried onions, and lemon juice. let it marinate for a few hours.

Prepare the Rice, parboil basmati rice with whole spices like bay leaves, cardamom, and cloves. drain and set aside.

Layer the Biryani, in a heavy-bottomed pot, layer marinated meat and rice alternately, topping with fried onions and saffron milk.

Dum Cooking, seal the pot with dough or foil and cook on low heat Dum method for 30-40 minutes.

Fluff and Serve, gently mix the biryani, ensuring the layers remain intact.

Serve, hot with raita, mirchi ka salan, and a squeeze of lemon.
