Here's how to make Moong Dal Khichdi at home.

Wash and Soak, rinse ½ cup moong dal and ½ cup rice thoroughly. soak them in water for 15-20 minutes, then drain.

Saute Spices, heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pressure cooker. add cumin seeds, bay leaf, chopped ginger, and green chilies. saute for a minute.

Add Dal and Rice, add the soaked moong dal and rice to the cooker. stir well, then add 4 cups of water, salt, and turmeric powder.

Cook the Khichdi, close the lid and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles on medium heat. let the pressure release naturally.

Serve and Enjoy, open the lid, mash slightly for a creamy texture, and add more ghee if desired. serve hot with curd, pickle, or papad.
