Here’s a simple 6 step recipe for making delicious Green Moong Kadhi.

Cook Moong Dal, drain the soaked moong dal, add 2 cups of water, and cook until tender. set aside.

Prepare Kadhi Base, in a bowl, mix yogurt, gram flour, turmeric, and salt. whisk until smooth, then add 2 cups of water to make a thin batter.

Saute Spices, in a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, ginger paste, and green chili. saute until fragrant.

Add Yogurt Mixture, pour the yogurt mixture into the pan, stirring continuously to avoid curdling. bring to a gentle simmer.

Combine with Moong Dal, add the cooked moong dal to the simmering kadhi, stirring to combine. let it cook for 5-10 minutes until the flavors blend.

Garnish and Serve, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
