How to make Mutton Korma at home in 8 Steps.

Marinate the Mutton, in a bowl, mix mutton pieces with yogurt, turmeric, red chili powder, salt, and ginger-garlic paste. let it marinate for 1-2 hours.

Fry the Onions, heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add sliced onions and fry until golden brown. remove some onions for garnishing.

Prepare the Spice Base, add whole spices like bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, and cloves to the pan. saute until aromatic.

Cook the Tomatoes, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften. stir in coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala to create a rich masala base.

Add the Marinated Mutton, add the marinated mutton to the pan. cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the meat is seared and coated with the spices.

Simmer the Korma, pour in water or stock. cover and cook on low heat until the mutton becomes tender, stirring occasionally.

Add Cream or Nut Paste, mix in cream or a paste of soaked almonds and cashews for a creamy texture. simmer for a few more minutes.

Garnish and Serve, with fried onions, fresh coriander, and a squeeze of lemon. serve hot with naan, paratha, or steamed rice.
