Texture Test : Authentic ghee has a grainy texture due to the presence of milk solids. If your ghee is too smooth and creamy, it might be adulterated.

Aroma Test: Genuine ghee has a rich, nutty aroma. Phony ghee often lacks this characteristic smell or may have an artificial scent.

Solubility Test : Take a teaspoon of ghee and add it to a glass of warm water. Authentic ghee will dissolve completely and form a clear layer on the water's surface.

Freezing Test : Place a small amount of ghee in a container and refrigerate it. Pure ghee will solidify uniformly.

Color Test : Pure ghee typically has a consistent golden-yellow color. If the color is too pale or whitish, it may indicate the presence of impurities or additives.

Smoke Point Test : Heat a small amount of ghee in a pan. Authentic ghee has a high smoke point and will not burn quickly.

Vanishing Test: Rub a small amount of ghee on the back of your hand. Authentic ghee gets absorbed into the skin, leaving it moisturized.
