Boil Water with Spices, in a pot, bring 1½ cups of water to a boil and add spices like crushed ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and a pinch of black pepper.
Add Tea Leaves, once the water boils, add 1½ teaspoons of black tea leaves and let it simmer for a minute.
Add Milk, pour in 1 cup of milk and bring the mixture back to a boil.
Sweeten, add sugar or jaggery to taste and simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing all the flavors to blend.
Strain and Serve, strain the masala chai into cups and enjoy it hot with your favorite snacks.
