Here's how to make delicious Lahori Paneer Korma at home in just 9 easy steps.
Fry onions, heat ghee/oil in a pan, add sliced onions, and saute until golden brown. set aside and blend into a smooth paste.
Saute spices, in the same pan, add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, and cook until fragrant.
Cook yogurt mixture, lower the flame and add whisked yogurt, stirring continuously to avoid curdling.
Add spices & cashew paste, mix in coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric, fennel powder, and cashew paste. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Prepare korma base, add the blended fried onion paste and cook until the masala releases oil.
Add cream & water, pour in fresh cream and a little water to adjust the consistency. simmer for 2 minutes.
Add Paneer, gently add paneer cubes, stir well, and let it absorb the flavors for 3-4 minutes.
Finish with garam masala, sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
Garnish & serve, garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan, roti, or pulao.
