Here's how to make nolen gurer payesh at home

Rinse and soak Rice, rinse 1/2 cup gobindo bhog rice and soak it for 15-20 minutes.

Prepare Jaggery, grate or chop 100-150g of nolen gur into small pieces.

Cook rice in milk, boil 4 cups milk, add the soaked rice, and cook on low heat until soft and thick.

Add jaggery, stir in the grated nolen gur until it dissolves completely into the payesh

Add Sugar, if needed, add 1-2 tbsp sugar for extra sweetness.

Flavor with cardamom, add 1/2 tsp cardamom powder for aroma and stir.

Garnish and serve, fry cashews and raisins in ghee, then garnish the payesh and serve.
