Here's how to make Atta Halwa in five simple steps.

Heat Ghee, in a pan, melt ½ cup of ghee over medium heat. let it warm up until it’s fully melted.

Roast the Atta, add 1 cup of whole wheat flour to the pan with ghee. stir continuously and roast on low heat for 8-10 minutes, or until the atta turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.

Prepare Sugar Syrup, in a separate pan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. add 1 cup of sugar and stir until fully dissolved, creating a syrup.

Combine Flour and Syrup, slowly pour the sugar syrup into the roasted atta, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. keep stirring as the mixture thickens.

Cook to Desired Consistency, continue cooking until the halwa reaches a smooth, thick consistency and begins to leave the sides of the pan. garnish with chopped nuts, like almonds or cashews, if desired, and serve warm.
