Here's how to make authentic Maharastrian Thalipeeth at home in just 7 easy steps.

Prepare the dough, in a bowl, mix bhajani flour, onions, coriander, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, sesame seeds, and salt. add water gradually and knead into a soft dough.

Divide & flatten, take a small portion of dough and flatten it on a greased plastic sheet or banana leaf. pat with wet hands to form a thin, round shape.

Make holes in the thalipeeth, use your fingers to make small holes in the dough to allow even cooking.

Cook on a hot tawa, heat a tawa, drizzle some oil, and carefully transfer the thalipeeth onto it.

Flip & cook, cook on medium flame until golden brown spots appear, then flip and cook the other side.

Brush with ghee, apply a little ghee for added flavor and crispiness.

Serve & enjoy, serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or white butter for an authentic maharashtrian experience.
