Here's how to make Punjabi style Kadhi at home.

Make Pakoras, mix besan, ajwain, salt, and chili powder with water to form a thick batter. fry small portions until golden brown and crispy.
Prepare Kadhi Mixture, whisk besan, yogurt, water, turmeric, chili powder, and salt until smooth.
Cook Kadhi, heat mustard oil, add cumin, mustard, methi seeds, red chilies, and curry leaves. saute onions, then add ginger-garlic paste.
Simmer Kadhi, pour the yogurt mixture into the pan, stirring continuously. let it simmer for 25-30 minutes.
Add Pakoras, drop the fried pakoras into the kadhi and let them soak for a few minutes.
Garnish & Serve, sprinkle fresh coriander and serve hot with steamed or jeera rice.
