Boil the milk, in a heavy-bottomed pan, bring 1 liter of milk to a boil on medium heat.

Simmer & reduce, lower the flame and let the milk simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.

Add sugar & saffron, once the milk reduces to half, add sugar and saffron milk, stirring well.

Enhance with dry fruits, mix in chopped almonds, pistachios, and chironji, giving it a nutty crunch.

Infuse cardamom flavor, add cardamom powder for a delightful aroma and mix well.

Cool & thicken, let the Basundi cool to room temperature, it will thicken further as it rests.

Chill & serve, garnish with more nuts and saffron strands and serve chilled, for a festive touch.
