Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C), then grease 4 ramekins with butter, dust with cocoa powder, and tap out the excess.

Melt chocolate and butter together in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, stirring until smooth, then let cool slightly.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, flour, and a pinch of salt.

Whisk eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla into the melted chocolate, then fold in the dry ingredients until just mixed.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.

Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are set and centers remain soft, with tops firm and slightly cracked.
