How to make a delicious South Indian Banana Curry in 8 simple steps.

Prepare the Bananas, Peel and cut the raw bananas into small cubes. Boil them in water with a pinch of salt and turmeric until tender but firm. Drain and set aside.

Heat Oil, In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.

Sauté Onions, Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add Tomatoes, Toss in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.

Spices, Add turmeric, coriander powder, and chili powder. Stir well to combine the spices with the onion-tomato mixture.

Add Bananas, Add the boiled banana cubes to the pan and stir gently to coat them with the spice mixture.

Coconut Milk, Pour in the coconut milk and mix well. Let the curry simmer on low heat for 5-7 minutes until the flavors are absorbed.

Garnish and Serve, Turn off the heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice or chapati.
